Original Recipe Card
Ingredients
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1/2 cup Butter
- 1 cup Milk
- 3 teaspoons Baking Powder
- 3 scant cupfuls Flour
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
Instructions
- Cream the sugar and butter together, add the milk and the baking powder, which has been sifted with the flour; now add the vanilla.
- Pour into layer cake tins and bake in a hot oven.
- When done, ice with chocolate icing.
