Original Recipe Card

Ingredients
- 2 squares Grated Chocolate
- 2 (yolks) Eggs
- 1/2 cup Milk
- 1 cup Sugar
- 3 tablespoons Melted Butter
- A pinch Salt
- 1 teaspoon Soda
- 1 1/3 cups Flour
- 1/2 cup Milk
Instructions
- Grate the chocolate fine and rub in the well beaten egg yolks, add 1/2 cup of milk, place over the fire and cook until smooth and creamy, stirring constantly.
- Remove from the fire, add the sugar, butter, the salt and the soda, which has been dissolved in 1/2 cup of milk; now add the flour and stir until perfectly smooth.
- Bake in a well greased pan, in a moderate oven.
