Original Recipe Card

Ingredients
- 1 cup (scant) Butter
- 3 cups Sugar
- 1 cup Milk
- Twelve Eggs
- 1 cup Corn-starch
- 3 teaspoons Baking Powder
- 3 cups Flour
- 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
Instructions
- Cream together the butter and sugar, add the milk and the beaten whites of the eggs.
- Mix the corn-starch, baking powder and flour, beat all gradually in, and add the flavoring.
- Beat thoroughly and bake in tins lined with buttered paper.
- Bake in a moderate oven.
- Ice while hot with Icing No. 626.
