Original Recipe Card
Ingredients
- 1 cup Sugar
- two Eggs
- 1 tablespoon Butter
- 1 cup Peanuts
- 2 cups Flour
- 2 teaspoons Baking Powder
- a few grains Salt
- 1/2 cup Milk
Instructions
- Beat the eggs and sugar together, briskly for 3 or 4 minutes.
- Soften the butter and stir it again for a few minutes.
- Then add the coarsely chopped peanuts and the flour, into which has been sifted the baking powder and salt, now add the milk.
- Mix into a rather soft dough and turn out on the floured board.
- Roll out thin and cut with a cookie cutter.
- Place on a greased bake pan and bake in a moderate oven for 8 minutes.
