Ingredients

  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Butter and lard
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1 1/2 cups Flour
  • 2 teaspoons Baking powder
  • 4 Egg whites
  • 2 Apples, grated
  • 1 Whole lemon
  • 1 cup Sugar

Instructions

  1. Mix sugar, butter and lard, milk, flour, baking powder, and egg whites to make the cake batter.
  2. For frosting, cook grated apples, whole lemon, and sugar together until clear.
