Original Recipe Card

Ingredients
- 4 cups Milk
- 3 tablespoons Cocoa
- 1/4 cup Sugar
- A few grains Salt
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- Whipped Cream
Instructions
- Scald the milk in a double boiler.
- Mix the cocoa, sugar and salt with 1/4 cup of boiling water.
- Add to the milk, bring to boiling point.
- Let boil 3 minutes.
- Cool and set on ice until well chilled.
- Serve in tall glasses with the whipped cream, which has been sweetened and flavored with the vanilla.
