Original recipe card for Buckwheat Cakes

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Buckwheat
  • 1 cup Wheat Flour
  • 2 tablespoons Baking Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • To mix Milk

Instructions

  1. Mix with sweet milk into thin batter and bake at once, on a hot griddle.
  2. Note: When surface is covered with air holes it is time to turn cakes over.
