Original recipe card for Omelet

Ingredients

  • Three Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Cold Water
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt

Instructions

  1. Break the eggs in a bowl.
  2. Beat with a fork until they are well mixed, then add the salt.
  3. Turn in the cold water.
  4. Beat all well together.
  5. Turn the mixture into a very hot buttered pan, shake and stir until the eggs begin to set.
  6. Let them form, fold and turn out on a hot platter.
