Original recipe card for Chocolate Cream Filling

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup Water
  • 2 squares Chocolate
  • 3 teaspoons Corn-starch
  • 1 teaspoon Butter
  • To flavor Vanilla

Instructions

  1. Boil the sugar, water and chocolate together for 10 minutes.
  2. Add the corn-starch which has been dissolved in a little cold water.
  3. Add the butter and boil until the starch is cooked.
  4. Add the extract and spread before it cools.
