Original Recipe Card

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup White Corn Meal
- 1 1/2 cups Boiling Water
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 1 1/2 cups Milk
- 2 tablespoons Sugar
- 2 tablespoons Melted Butter
- 2 cups Flour
- 2 teaspoons Baking Powder
- Two Eggs
Instructions
- Cook corn meal in boiling water, 30 minutes; add salt.
- Add milk, sugar, butter and flour, mixed with baking powder; add eggs, whites and yolks beaten separately.
- Cook on hot well greased waffle-iron.
