Original Recipe Card

Ingredients
- 1 cup strained honey
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 egg
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 teaspoons ginger
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup chopped nuts
Instructions
- Mix honey, sugar, melted fat, and beaten egg.
- Sift baking powder and ginger with flour.
- Add nuts to flour after sifting.
- Stir well into other ingredients.
- Drop by spoonfuls on to a greased pan and bake in a moderate (375°F.) oven 25 minutes.
