Ingredients
- 2 Qts. Small, Firm Sprouts
- 1 Tablespoonful Butter
- 1 Tablespoonful Chopped Parsley
- 1 Juice of Half a Lemon
- To Taste Salt and Pepper
Instructions
- Pick over the sprouts and remove all poor leaves; then wash.
- Boil in salted water until tender; drain and cool.
- When about to serve, melt the butter in a frying pan, adding pepper and salt to taste.
- Add the sprouts, put over a brisk fire and toss about until very hot.
- Add the chopped parsley and lemon juice; then serve.
- If preferred, the sprouts may be boiled in salted water and served with Hollandaise or a plain cream sauce.
