Ingredients

  • Five Potatoes
  • To season Salt
  • To season Pepper
  • To season Butter
  • To fill dish Milk or Cream

Instructions

  1. Butter a baking dish, pare the potatoes and slice thin.
  2. Put in the dish, a layer of potatoes and sprinkle with salt, pepper and a little butter.
  3. Then another layer of potatoes, etc., until dish is nearly full.
  4. Then fill with milk or cream.
  5. Bake 1 1/2 hours.
