Original recipe card for Asparagus on Toast

Ingredients

  • 1 bunch Asparagus
  • Dry Toast

Instructions

  1. Have stalks of equal length.
  2. Cook 20 to 30 minutes according to size.
  3. Dip 6 or 8 slices of dry toast in asparagus liquor, lay on hot platter, place asparagus on them, and cover with a cream sauce.
  4. In making the sauce use the asparagus liquor and water or milk, in equal quantities.
