Ingredients
- Macaroni
- Cheese
- Milk
- Pepper
- Salt
- Butter
Instructions
- Have a large kettle nearly full of rapidly boiling salted water.
- Break the macaroni into pieces and drop in the water.
- Boil until tender, which will be about 30 minutes.
- Drain in a colander.
- Place in a baking dish and cover with milk.
- Season with pepper, salt and butter and slice cheese on the top.
- Bake in a moderate oven until well browned.
