Original recipe card for Spaghetti with Tomato Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound Spaghetti
  • 1 pint Canned Tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon Flour
  • 1/2 cup Sweet Cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt

Instructions

  1. Break the spaghetti into 2-inch lengths and drop into boiling water.
  2. Let it boil until perfectly tender.
  3. Rub the tomatoes through the colander.
  4. Heat to boiling, thicken with a little flour.
  5. Add the salt, and the cream.
  6. Dish the spaghetti in individual dishes and serve with a small quantity of sauce poured over each dish.
