Original recipe card for Stuffed Peppers

Ingredients

  • Three Hard Boiled Eggs
  • 3 tablespoons Grated Cheese
  • 3 tablespoons Chopped Veal (Cooked)
  • 1 cup Canned Tomatoes
  • 1 cup Bread Crumbs
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 teaspoon Chopped Celery
  • To season Pepper and Salt
  • Ten Peppers (Sweet)

Instructions

  1. Mix filling well and moisten with a small 1/4 cup of boiling water.
  2. Cut the peppers in two, remove the seeds, grease with the butter and fill with the mixture.
  3. Place peppers in a baking pan with a cup of water in the bottom of the pan.
  4. Dot the top of the peppers with butter.
  5. Bake in a slow oven until brown.
