Original recipe card for Date, Nut and Pineapple Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 Cupful Stoned Dates
  • 8 Sliced Canned Pineapple
  • 1 Cupful Broken English Walnut Meats
  • 1 Stalk Celery
  • 3 Medium-Sized Apples
  • 1 Cupful White Grapes
  • As needed Mayonnaise Dressing
  • Some Crisp Lettuce Leaves

Instructions

  1. Chop the apples, celery, walnuts and dates and cut the grapes in halves.
  2. Then mix them with some mayonnaise dressing.
  3. Place a few crisp lettuce leaves on individual plates, then a slice of pineapple, and on the top, some of the above mixture.
  4. Serve very cold.
