Ingredients
- 1 cupful English Walnuts
- 1 cupful Tart Apples, Diced
- 1 cupful Crisp Celery
- 1 Mayonnaise Dressing
- 1 Shredded Cocoanut
Instructions
- Shell the walnuts and break or chop them into small pieces.
- Peel and cut up the apples, and cut the celery into small pieces.
- Mix the ingredients together and sprinkle with shredded cocoanut.
- Then mix thoroughly with Mayonnaise dressing, or with French dressing, if a lighter salad is preferred to accompany the hearty dinner.
- The salad may be served in apple shells placed on small lettuce leaves, or on lettuce leaves alone.
