Original recipe card for Cream Mayonnaise Dressing

Ingredients

  • Two (yolks) Eggs
  • One (juice and pulp) Lemon
  • 4 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 small cup Whipped Cream
  • To taste Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • ½ teaspoon Mustard

Instructions

  1. Blend the oil and lemon very slowly, with the egg.
  2. The yolks thoroughly beaten should be added slowly to the lemon juice and pulp.
  3. Cream may be omitted if desired.
  4. Add the beaten egg whites last.
  5. It should be of a smooth, creamy consistency.
