Original recipe card for Egg Dumplings for Soup or Stew

Ingredients

  • Two Eggs
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Milk
  • 1 cup Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder

Instructions

  1. Beat eggs, add salt and milk.
  2. Sift flour and baking powder, add egg mixture and more flour if necessary to make a thick batter.
  3. Drop by half teaspoonfuls in boiling soup; cover, cook 10 minutes.
