Original Recipe Card

Ingredients
- 1 pint Milk
- 3 gills Wheat Flour
- Three Eggs
- 2 cups Boiled Rice
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
Instructions
- Beat the eggs until very light; dilute the rice with some of the milk.
- Beat until there are no lumps.
- Add the three well beaten eggs and the salt, stir in the flour, into which has been sifted the baking powder.
- Now add the remainder of the milk, to make a thick batter.
- Bake in muffin pans in a quick oven until lightly browned.
