Original Recipe Card

Ingredients
- 1 pint Oysters
- 4 cups Seasoned Chicken Stock
- 1/2 cup Milk or Thin Cream
Instructions
- Wash and chop the oysters, reserving the soft portions of 12.
- Add 1/2 cupful of cold water, bring gradually to the boiling point and let simmer 25 minutes.
- Strain, add the chicken stock to the liquor, season with salt and cayenne pepper and add the milk or cream and the soft parts of the oysters.
- Cook until the oysters are plump, and serve piping hot.
