Original Recipe Card

Ingredients
- 1 quart Oysters
- 1/2 pint Hot Cream
- To season Salt and Pepper
- 1 1/2 ounces Butter
Instructions
- Put the oysters on the fire in their own liquor.
- The moment they begin to boil, skim them out and add to the liquor, the hot cream, salt and pepper.
- Skim it well, take from the fire and add the butter.
- Serve immediately.
