Ingredients
- 1 can Stewed and strained tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Sugar
- 2/3 (two-thirds) box Gelatine
- 1/2 (one-half) cup Cold water
Instructions
- Soak gelatine in cold water for fifteen minutes.
- Add salt and sugar to stewed and strained tomatoes.
- Pour into small cups and chill.
- Serve on lettuce leaf with mayonnaise dressing.
- If you like, add 2 slices of onion, a little celery, and a few peppers. Do not cook with tomatoes.
- The clear tomatoes taste more like fresh tomatoes.
