Original recipe card for Lemon Pie

Ingredients

  • Two Lemons
  • 2 tablespoons (heaping) Flour
  • Three Eggs
  • 2 cups Water
  • Size of a walnut Butter

Instructions

  1. Squeeze out the juice of the lemons and grate the rind.
  2. Put all the ingredients in a double boiler and cook until thick.
  3. Then put in the baked crusts.
  4. Beat the egg whites until firm, add a little sugar and put on top of the pies.
  5. Brown in the oven.
