Ingredients

  • 1/2 peck Green Tomatoes
  • Five Green Mangoes
  • Five large Cabbage
  • 1/2 peck Onions
  • 1/4 cup Celery Seed
  • 1/4 cup Mustard Seed
  • Vinegar

Instructions

  1. Chop the mangoes and the tomatoes very fine and let them stand in salt water over night.
  2. Next morning add the cabbage, onions, the celery and mustard seed.
  3. Put in a bag and boil with diluted vinegar and sugar to suit the taste.
  4. Let stand 24 hours, then drain, add stronger vinegar, sugar and spices.
