Original Recipe Card

Ingredients
- 1/2 peck Green Tomatoes
- Five Green Mangoes
- Five large Cabbage
- 1/2 peck Onions
- 1/4 cup Celery Seed
- 1/4 cup Mustard Seed
- Vinegar
Instructions
- Chop the mangoes and the tomatoes very fine and let them stand in salt water over night.
- Next morning add the cabbage, onions, the celery and mustard seed.
- Put in a bag and boil with diluted vinegar and sugar to suit the taste.
- Let stand 24 hours, then drain, add stronger vinegar, sugar and spices.
