Original recipe card for Marlborough Corn Biscuit

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups Flour
  • 3/4 cup Corn Meal
  • 2 heaping spoonfuls Baking Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • One Egg
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 3/4 cup Milk

Instructions

  1. Mix the flour, corn meal and baking powder together.
  2. Add salt and sugar, the well beaten egg and the melted butter with the milk.
  3. Mix all well together, roll out and cut with a biscuit cutter.
  4. Bake in a hot oven.
