Ingredients
- Corned Beef
- Cold Water
- One Cabbage
- Drawn Butter
Instructions
- Select a piece not too salt.
- The brisket is a good cut for family use when not too fat.
- Cook in plenty of cold water.
- Bring slowly to a boil.
- Cook 18 minutes to the pound after it begins to simmer.
- When half done, put in the cabbage, quartered.
- When both are thoroughly done, put in a hot dish until ready to serve.
- Pour a little drawn butter over the cabbage.
