Original recipe card for Mutton Haricot

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Breast of Mutton
  • Two Sliced Onions
  • 1 pint Boiled Macaroni
  • 1 pint Shelled Peas

Instructions

  1. Cut the mutton in pieces, roll in flour and brown in drippings.
  2. Transfer to a stewpan, add the onions, cover with boiling water and simmer until very tender.
  3. Add macaroni and peas, season, simmer till vegetables are done.
