Original recipe card for Cakes of Round Steak

Ingredients

  • 1 Pound Round Steak
  • 2 Slices Bacon
  • 1 Small Onion
  • 1/2 Cupful Breadcrumbs
  • 1 Egg
  • To Taste Salt and Pepper
  • Flour

Instructions

  1. Grind the steak, bacon and onion, add the breadcrumbs, the egg well beaten and the salt and pepper.
  2. Mix well, make into little cakes, dust over with flour and fry brown.
