Original Recipe Card
Ingredients
- One pint Large cucumbers
- One pint Small cucumbers
- One quart Onions
- Two heads Cauliflower
- Three Green peppers
- One pint Green Tomatoes
- Two quarts Vinegar
- 1/2 pound Mustard
- One cup Sugar
- One cup Flour
- 1/2 ounce Tumeric
Instructions
- Cut the vegetables in small pieces, remove the seeds from the peppers, place in weak brine for twenty-four hours.
- Cook in the same brine until they are tender.
- Skim out and pour over the boiling hot dressing.
- Cook the ingredients in a double boiler, stirring constantly until it is free from lumps, when it should pour easily.
- Pour over the vegetables and seal in air tight jars.
