Ingredients
- Butter
- Salt and Pepper
- 1/2 cup Butter
- 1/2 cup Water
Instructions
- Clean and wash, then rub all over with soft butter and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Place on a rack in roasting pan and put in a very hot oven.
- Make a basting mixture from the equal parts of butter and water, keep hot and baste every 10 or 15 minutes.
- Keep the oven very hot.
