Ingredients

  • Fish
  • Butter
  • Mashed Potatoes
  • Egg
  • 1 cup Cream
  • A pinch Salt
  • To flavor Minced Parsley
  • To flavor Lemon Juice
  • Melted Butter

Instructions

  1. Open the fish lengthwise, remove the bones and trim neatly.
  2. Heat the plank well and butter it lightly before placing the fish on it.
  3. A gas oven with the flame on top of the oven is the most convenient for cooking the fish.
  4. Place the plank with the fish, about 4 inches below the flame and allow it to cook, slowly.
  5. After cooking eight minutes make a border with a pastry bag close around the fish, of the mashed potatoes mixed with an egg.
  6. Baste frequently with the cream, to which the salt has been added.
  7. The fish will be done from 20 to 30 minutes.
  8. Serve with some minced parsley, lemon juice and melted butter.
