Original recipe card for Cocoanut Indian Pudding

Ingredients

  • 1 Tablespoonful Chopped Cocoanut
  • 2 Tablespoonfuls Indian Meal
  • 1 Tablespoonful Instantaneous Tapioca
  • 1/2 Cupful Molasses
  • 1/4 Cupful Sugar
  • 1 Tablespoonful Butter
  • 1 Quart Milk
  • Pinch Salt

Instructions

  1. Mix all the ingredients together, then pour them into a buttered, fireproof dish and bake slowly for two hours.
  2. Serve hot with milk.
  3. If pearl tapioca is used it must be soaked overnight.
