Original Recipe Card

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 Cupfuls Preserved Black Currants or Raspberries
- 1 Cupful Chopped Suet
- 1 Cupful Sweet Milk
- 1 1/2 Cupfuls Flour
- 2 Tablespoonfuls Sugar
- 1 Teaspoonful Baking Soda
- A Pinch Salt
Instructions
- Sift the flour, salt and soda into a basin, add the sugar, suet, milk and fruit; mix well.
- Pour into a buttered pudding-mold, cover with a buttered paper, and steam steadily for two hours.
- Serve with any sweet pudding sauce.
