Original recipe card for Tippecanoe Pudding

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Grated Bread Crumbs
  • 1/2 cup Chopped Raisins
  • 1 cup Milk
  • Lump size of a bean Soda
  • 1/2 cup Molasses
  • One Egg
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon Suet, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Mix all thoroughly and pour into a deep pudding pan, and steam 1 1/2 hours or until thoroughly done.
  2. Serve with a sauce of canned fruit.
