Original recipe card for Delicate Pudding

Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup fruit sauce
  • 6 tablespoons corn starch
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3 eggs, separated

Instructions

  1. Boil water, fruit juice, and salt.
  2. Mix corn starch and sugar thoroughly and add to the boiling liquid, stirring constantly for ten minutes.
  3. Beat whites of eggs stiff and add to mixture when slightly cold and beat.
  4. Turn into wet mold and cool.
  5. Serve with cream or boiled custard.
