Original recipe card for Fig Pudding

Ingredients

  • 1/4 pound Chopped Figs
  • 2 cups Bread Crumbs
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/4 pound Chopped Suet
  • Two Eggs
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla
  • 1 to 1 1/2 tablespoons Flour

Instructions

  1. Mix the figs and the bread crumbs; add the sugar, suet and eggs; lastly add the extract and flour.
  2. Mix all well together.
  3. Steam three hours and serve with cream and sugar.
