Original recipe card for Frozen Raspberries

Ingredients

  • 1 pint Sugar
  • 1 quart Water
  • 2 quarts Crushed Berries
  • 1 pint Whipped Cream

Instructions

  1. Dissolve the sugar in the water.
  2. Wash and drain the berries, and mash with a fork.
  3. Add to the sugar and water.
  4. Freeze until like thick mush, then add the whipped cream and pack the freezer in the ice and salt.
  5. Let stand until solid.
