Original Recipe Card

Ingredients
- 1 heaping cup Seeded persimmons
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 cup Sour milk or buttermilk
- 1 Egg
- 3/4 cup Flour
- 1 teaspoon Soda
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon Allspice
Instructions
- Seed persimmons by putting through sieve and mashing.
- Then add sugar, 1 beaten egg, soda mixed in sour or buttermilk.
- Lift flour and spices, add to other.
- Put in buttered pan and bake slowly 30 minutes.
