Original recipe card for Frozen Cranberry Sherbet

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp gelatin
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 3 cups boiling water
  • 1 qt cranberries
  • 2 1/2 cups sugar
  • 4 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Soak gelatin in cold water for 5 minutes.
  2. Cook cranberries without water until soft, then drain.
  3. Bring to boiling point and add gelatin.
  4. Put in freezer tray and stir occasionally until frozen.
