Original recipe card for Pineapple Ice Cream

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups Drained and crushed pineapple
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Chilled evaporated milk
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Measure 1 1/2 cups drained and crushed pineapple.
  2. Add 1/2 cup sugar, stir until dissolved.
  3. Whip 1 tablespoon chilled evaporated milk (1/3 cup) until very stiff.
  4. Fold in 2 tablespoons lemon juice.
  5. Add pineapple.
  6. Pour in freezer tray.
  7. Chill bowl and beat 3 times.
