Original Recipe Card

Ingredients
- 1 can Colonel's Pride red pitted cherries
- 1/2 cup juice
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon corn starch
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon butter
Instructions
- Blend together the sugar, corn starch, and salt.
- Pour over the cherries and stir until well coated.
- Pour into an unbaked crust; adjust a top crust.
- Bake in a hot oven (450°F) for fifteen minutes, then reduce oven temperature (350°F) and bake 20 minutes more.
