Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Nut Meats
  • 1/2 Cup Water
  • 2 Cups Granulated Sugar
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla

Instructions

  1. Boil the sugar and water without stirring until thick enough to spin a thread.
  2. Flavor with vanilla.
  3. Set saucepan in cold water and stir the mixture quickly until white.
  4. Then add the nuts and turn at once onto buttered plates.
  5. When cold cut into small squares.
