Original Recipe Card

Ingredients
- 1/2 pound Butter
- 1/2 pound Pulverized Sugar
- six Eggs
- 3/4 pound Flour
- 1 tablespoon Almond Extract
- 1 tablespoon Rose Extract
Instructions
- Cream the butter with the sugar; add the beaten yolks of the eggs, the flour and extracts.
- Make into a dough and shape with the hands into small balls.
- Press a blanched almond into the top of each cake and bake in a steady oven.
- They will flatten slightly, in the baking.
