Ingredients

  • 6 rounding tablespoons Coffee (Ground)
  • One-third Egg White

Instructions

  1. Moisten the ground coffee with half a pint of cold water.
  2. Add the white of egg.
  3. Then a quart of boiling water; bring all to the boiling point.
  4. Add a dash of cold water, boil 2 minutes; stand aside a few minutes.
  5. Serve at once. This quantity makes six cups.
